Below is a video link of an installation of Arts in the Airport at Tyson McGee Airport in Knoxville, TN. My piece appears really early in the video…can you guess which one it is? This exhibit was on view in 2021

An artist friend, named Jennifer Kring, does a podcast that features local artists, called Chatt Art. You can listen to my (lengthy, but fun) interview here on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/episode/1y6sE2nFw2ZMqgVVhSO3oE

In a partnership with the Hunter Museum of American Art and AVA (Association for Visual Artists), I was invited to be a featured artist who would choose a piece from the permanent collection at the museum, and create a special work that was inspired by that piece for a show called "Examinations." This is me talking about my chosen piece by George A. Cress, entitled Delta 3.

I was also asked to design the poster for the exhibit, and below (far left) is the piece that created to be used in the design. Second to left is the poster image. The next image is my first inspiration piece, After Cress, but I decided not to use that one for the show. Instead I went with my second attempt, After Cress II, which was more of a departure, but a more complex design that I ended up liking.
