Triangulation I (version 2)

This is an original, signed collagraphic print made from a handmade relief plate. I created the design by cutting wood and paperboard pieces that I then sealed and arranged onto a large paperboard plate. Each piece was carefully inked and temporarily fixed to the plate backer and run through a vintage printing press. The idea was to create an unfixed, modular plate, so that I could later manipulate and re-arrange the pieces for alternate versions. Do to the tedious inking process, each print looks different, even when done as the same arrangement. This is “version 2” of the original and the only other print of this design, making it a monoprint. It is matted with archival mat, unframed size of 30” x 24”.
